"It is deep January. The sky is hard. The stalks are firmly rooted in ice."

Bacon and an omelette for tea time.

Everybody loves broasted chicken

Gift from Australia

This is the best scent ever next to peppermint and jasmine :) Eucalyptus has such an invigorating smell! When I'm tired but I need to stay awake, I sniff this.

Shadows on the ground from a lace curtain

Print from a new top

Cute animals on showcase. I like the small water snake :) It's the year of the snake this year.

Glitter!

Early morning sunshine I get to see every morning (unless it's raining) when I go to school. A levels is pretty funky. The teachers are all helpful and the atmosphere is really relaxed.... And lots of people are crazy smart.

I thought I was done with Physics after high school, I GUESS NOT. CURSES.

What happens when you don't understand whats going on in Physics and your friend decides to teach you how to draw a horse (my horse is the one on the right with a chicken tail). So I tried to return the favour and teach him how to draw a duck, but it ended up as a duck-chicken lookalike with a mohawk and three legs....

.... It's things like this that remind me why I'm actually studying science subjects, and not arts.

Super cute water balls in Biology! Learning the properties of water, adhesion makes the water on wax look like adorable water dumplings :)

Sometimes when my friends and I have nothing to do on long breaks, we walk to one of our friends' store. It's a secondhand store that sells clothes and books, and some of the books are really beautiful. They're practically antique with yellowing pages and that old-book smell.

Some lovely quotes I found while browsing.

Goodbye January.

First week of January 2013

Half-baked, bleary eyed, minimal consciousness - doodling, while ushering in the new year. Journaling. Soft sighs of what has happened, could have happened, didn't happen. And thankful thoughts for the One who was constant throughout. No resolutions this year.

Holidays means rereading old favourites.

Grocery shopping with the family - stumbling on some suspicious China products....

Beef noodles.

Looking at pretty furniture and all that while hanging out with friends.

And eating half my weight in size.

7 days of the new year, passed by pretty fast.
